  • I book either a Half Day or Full Day session.

    Half Day = $600 flat, 3 hours max

    Full Day = $1,000 flat, 4-5 hours max

    Flat rates ensure that clients know what to expect to spend for that appointment. If we tattoo you for the allotted time, you are also getting a good deal overall vs the hourly rate!

    ✨If you need to cut the session short, you will still owe the flat rate for that session. If the appointment ends early due to myself, you will only be responsible for the hourly rate and the tattoo that we’ve completed.

    ✨If the tattoo takes less than the allotted time, i.e. we book a very small tattoo for the half day slot and it only takes one hour— my hourly rate will apply and you will only owe $250. I will not charge you $600 for a small tattoo that takes less than 2-3 hours.

    My hourly rate is $250, this is also the minimum. This is a “tip included” based rate— I respectfully ask that clients do not bring me snacks, trinkets, drinks, etc. as tips.

    🔥HOT TIP: If you’re wanting something really small, Evoke has a walk-in day every second Sunday of the month. If I am tattooing that day, my minimum is $100.

  • Consultations are free! They take place Mon-Thurs 4-6pm.

    Deposits are priced based on a tier. They are half the cost of the flat rate up front.

    Small Tattoo (<2 hours) = $100 deposit

    Half Day = $300 deposit

    Full Day = $500 deposit

    “That’s a steep deposit!” Yes, I know. But, I am serious about your projects and I am serious about my time/career. I put time into your custom projects and ideas, and I invest in my continued education as a tattooer to bring the best I have to you as my client. I am always trying to improve my work! Having to pay half of the total price up front lets me know that you are serious about your project as well, and lets me know that you are prepared cost-wise.

    Deposits are non-refundable BUT, they do come out of the total cost of the tattoo. However, should you need to reschedule or cancel 48 hours or less prior to your scheduled appointment, you will be required to submit a new deposit to rebook.

    It is incredibly hard to fill an appointment with less than 48 hours notice— this ensures that I am given time to fill your time slot and ensures clients are more likely to keep their appointments.

    I understand that these are high deposits and strict rules but, this protects my time and my income.

  • Every second Sunday of the month, Evoke has a walk-in day where you can simply walk into the shop and get tattooed by an available artist. These are typically first come, first served.

    My shop minimum for walk-in days is $100.

  • I’m always happy to discuss your budget!

    I do offer a discounted rate of $180/hour to all Black clientele as a way to pay reparations.

    While I cannot take on discounted projects regularly, I do offer this reduced rate for any individuals who would like to take part in this service. Please let me know ahead of time if you would like to take advantage of this service as I do not like to assume that everyone will want to use it!

  • I prefer Zelle payments, but I can also take cash and credit/debit via Square.

    You can also pay via the VenueInk app, using a card via Stripe.

    Both options also offer AfterPay if you would like to finance your tattoo.

    Note: Paying via Zelle or cash is in your best interest as Square/AfterPay adds a 3% surcharge to all transactions.

  • HYDRATION IS KEY - don’t just chug water the morning of and slap on some lotion. Moisturize and drink ample amounts of water every day for 2 weeks leading up to your appointment.

    Soft and hydrated skin will make a HUGE impact on the length of your tattoo appointment. The dryer the skin, the hard it is for ink to deposit. 2-3 weeks before your session, lightly exfoliate the area to be tattooed and moisturize after. Stop this 3-4 day prior to your appointment to allow your skin time to heal and rejuvenate.

    Eat and bring snacks/drinks! We want your blood sugar steady.

    Wear comfortable, black clothing. You’re going to be laying on a table for hours, be comfy! Wear black to avoid any blood/stencil stains.

    Bring entertainment! Sometimes I am really quiet while I tattoo, it allows me to focus and get things done quicker. I love a chat but try to make sure I’m staying on task.

  • If you need to cancel, please email or message me on VenueInk as soon as possible.

    If you cancel or reschedule 48 hours or less prior to your scheduled appointment, your deposit becomes void. You must submit a new deposit for a new appointment, should you want to reschedule.

    While all deposits are non-refundable, they do come out of the total cost of your tattoo— for large projects, on the last session.

  • You must reschedule your appointment. No exceptions. You must be testing negative when you reschedule your appointment.

    I try to be understanding in these situations regarding deposits. But, please give me as much notice as possible! I offer one freebie cancellation due to Covid-19, all future cancellations will follow normal procedures.

  • YES!

    ⭐️You CAN NOT get tattooed while on antibiotics⭐️

    ▶️ Individuals that are immunocompromised or who take immunosuppressants are at a higher risk for infection and flare ups post tattoo.

    ▶️ Generally, we try to avoid blood thinners around your scheduled tattoo time, if possible. I know that sometimes we can’t avoid this, so please let me know!

    ▶️ Acne Meds/Accutane - can sometimes cause your skin to easily tear. I recommend waiting 6 months post treatment, if possible.

    ▶️ Aspirin/Ibuprofen - can cause blood thinning and excessive bleeding during your tattoo process. If you must take something for pain management, Tylenol is usually the better choice.

    ▶️ Antidepressants/Anti-Anxiety Meds - some antidepressants can cause blood thinning and excessive bleeding, causing more redness and risk at overworking the skin.

    ▶️ Blood Pressure Meds - can increase swelling and bleeding.

    If we notice any extra pain/bleeding/swelling during the tattooing process, we will stop and assess the situation before proceeding.

    Post tattoo, if you notice extra redness/swelling/heat/etc. you can always reach out to me for an opinion. If you notice signs of infection, seek out medical care IMMEDIATELY.
